| Malta Yacht Surveys is a family run independent surveying business operating throughout the Maltese Islands and the Central Mediterranean. They deliver a wide range of services such as pre-purchase condition and insurance surveys, damage assessment, a variety of Non Destructive Tests, and refit consultation. They have long standing knowledge and experience of many types of vessels, from small commercial fishing vessels to large privately owned superyachts. They use state of the art equipment such as moisture meters for GRP and wooden hulls, ultrasound thickness gauges for steel or aluminium structures and infra-red cameras for machinery and leak testing. After the survey inspection a detailed written report is produced for the client giving a comprehensive account of any defects, along with suggested measures for rectification. As Malta Yacht Surveys is a wholly independent business, they are also able to make impartial recommendations for third party businesses where remedial work may be required. The principal surveyor is John Ross who has over 20 years experience working on vessels of many types and sizes. He carries full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance, underwritten by Lloyds of London. He is also highly experienced and a qualified member of the Yacht Designer's and Surveyor's Association and the International Institute of Marine Surveyors. | |||||||||||||

Cardona, who had started his surveying practice in 1980, and registering the Company in 1995 and have since been heavily involved in Maritime and Yachting Industries, including Naval Architecture, Surveying, Consulting and Yacht Coding activities.
