Author and Publisher Bio:
The founding editor and publisher of Yachting in Malta is Wilfred Sultana, a seasoned journalist. He also cherishes many years of active involvement as a promoter and organizer of a variety of highly regarded events including: the Malta-Pozzallo Windsurf Race, the ‘off-road’ Camel Rally and World Ranking Snooker tournaments.
Sultana is also the author of several editorials on Malta’s potential as a yachting haven featured in significant international publications, and in 2009 he organised ‘a first’ for Malta; a Superyacht Industry Seminar encapsulating all aspects of the Superyacht business in Malta. He is founder and ex-Chairman of the Yachting Services Trade Section established within the Malta Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise.

Flashback to a memorable moment – Thanks to the endeavour of the local trade the 1989 edition of the London International Boat Show had Malta as its main theme. In fact that year’s Boat Show was inaugurated by Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami, then Prime Minister of Malta. The occasion also served as a prestigious launching platform for an edition of Yachting in Malta.
